This and That...

Well. Let's see here. What have the Saari's been up to lately? Quite a lot actually! A couple weeks ago we were VERY fortunate to have been invited to see the Division Championship game between the Twins and Tigers down at the metrodome! We had a blast! Matt's former boss, Bill, owns a limo company in Fargo, and provided us with a very stylish and comfortable ride to and from the game in his coach bus! Very nice! The game was an absolute riot! The packed dome shook to the rafters with the 54,000+ in attendance! And we would know! We were only a few rows away from the famous Teflon roof! Our center field, upper deck seats, were not the "best" in the house, but it didn't matter.
The atmosphere was electrifying! The homer hankies waved throughout all 12 innings! The crowd thundered in un-dying support for more than four hours!! And lucky us! We got to witness the last winning game for the Twins in the dome! Amazing! The boys were troopers through the very long, very loud game!

And on our way to the game we passed by the new home for our beloved Twins! Here is a shot of the new Target Field sign...(we weren't able to see the actual field from the street) I'm sure it will be spectacular once it is finished... Although I think a lot of fans will miss the domed roof when it comes time to begin the new season in April and the temp is hovering around 30-40 degrees and there is still SNOW on the ground! Ahhh yes. Outdoor baseball in MN.

Speaking of that dreaded "S" word... Last weekend. The 10th of October... We had planned a trip back to Talmoon to do a family photo shoot with Grandma and Grandpa O. Our normally 3 1/2 hour drive took closer to 5 when it was all said and done... Icy roads, snow and slush were a not so lovely sight as we made our way to the woods! Thankfully enough, we arrived safely! And even though we were quite bummed to not have a pretty fall day like we'd hoped, our family photo session was a lot of fun, COLD and SNOWY, but fun! Cody did an amazing job quickly moving through the pictures and they turned out so wonderful! Here are a few of my favorites-
